The vast majority of people get a home inspection nowadays. It is a great way to protect your investment and avoid costly mistakes. But sometimes a client “knows what they are looking at”. Maybe you are in construction, have built several houses, or are an engineer. DO you still need a home inspection? The answer is yes, but maybe not for the reasons you were thinking. So why do you still need one?
- Negotiations – If you find a defect or two during your time in the home, no one will really work off of the opinion of a buyer. They will require you to have a third party inspect – and, hopefully, it is not outside the required time period for it.
- Emotional Distance – No matter who we are, buying a home is emotional, and having someone with emotional distance from that home with objectivity helps.
So contact us and we will be happy to provide you with the best home inspection possible!
